Originally created in 1978 to help prevent back problems in Swedish school children, the classic Kanken Backpack from Fjällräven is the perfect backpack for travel, work, school or simply the everyday.

Designed with durable, lightweight and water resistant Vinylon F fabric, the Kanken is excellent at withstanding everyday life, resisting dirt and wetness. Vinylon F swells when damp to become more dense, withstanding water without the need for a special coating.

Designed with a large zippered opening, the Kanken is easy to pack and unpack, and allows you to quickly find what you're looking for with its convenient design. Two flat pockets on the side, an internal back pocket and an external zipped front pocket allow you to compartmentalise your belongings with ease, keeping your essentials close at hand for when you need them most.

Within the internal back pocket, a removable seat pad provides a comfortable barrier between the contents of your bag and your back, and means a comfortable rest is never far away. Adjustable shoulder straps and a top handle make for an easy grab and go and give the versatility of carrying the Kanken as a bag or as a backpack.
