About the Gear Aid Seam Grip + Sil
Seam Grip + SIL Silicone Tent Sealant from Gear Aid gives you a fantastic way to keep moisture from getting into your silnylon spec tent. Previously known as SilNet, this clear sealant dries to a flexible rubber that works on all silicone treated gear including nylon tarps and ultralight backpacks.
A single 28g tube can seal up to 24 ft of seams; creating a lasting watertight seal that won't peel or crack when exposed to extreme heat or cold. A great way to repair pinholes and small tears in outer shells and flysheets.
Seam Grip + SIL is designed to be used with silnylon tents and outdoor gear because silicone will only adhere to silicone. So, treat gear right and seal out the weather with Seam Grip SIL.
