The Giro Range MIPS helmet offers excellent protection from impacts and a highly personalised fit at the turn of a dial for great comfort while on the mountain. The Range offers amazing features to make it a top choice for all riders.
The Range helmet features Conform Fit Technology, utilising a two-piece shell construction that contours the shape of your head by expanding and contracting at the turn of the dial. This allows the wearer to customise the entire shape of the helmet to achieve the perfect fit. The Range uses a durable semi-flexible EPP construction that envelopes the shape of your head to provide the lowest profile fit Giro has ever created and provides unsurpassed comfort.
This helmet features premium technology to keep you safe in dangerous situations, one such piece of technology is the MIP system. The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System, MIPS for short, is comprised of two liners that are attached by an elastic layer. The MIPS technology allows the liners to rotate independently of each other when subjected to an angled force, this reduces the forces on the head, and in turn, reduces the potential for injury for ultimate protection.
The Range helmet has an adjustable Thermostat Control venting system, as well as Giro's Stack Venting. Stack venting places a vent at the front of the helmet, aligned with the top of the goggles, this allows the warm, and potentially damp, air that comes from the goggles to quickly escape from the helmet, keeping you dry and comfortable. The helmet padding has an antibacterial coating so it will stay fresh even after prolonged use.
Many helmet fastening systems can often be tricky to use, especially with gloves on. The Range helmet has a super simple Fidlock Magnetic buckle, which is secure and can be easily operated with one hand. Furthermore, this helmet has an integrated GoPro mounting system which allows a GoPro action camera to be quickly attached to the front of the helmet.
