About the GNU GWO
The GNU GWO is a super fun freestyle snowboard that will feel just at home buttering on the piste as it does hitting kickers in the park or cruising through side hits.
The BTX Hybrid contour camber profile is a progressive combination of camber and rocker profiles, with mild rocker in the center of the board helping float in powder and creating freestyle freedom, and camber out to the nose and tail providing control, precision, and power.
In addition to this camber profile, Gnu has incorporated Magne-Traction edge technology into the GWO, which consists of seven strategically located and sized serrations placed along the length of the snowboard. This provides more contact points between the board and the snow creating higher levels of grip, even on ice.
The GWO contains a carefully selected Aspen/Paulownia wood core. These Eco sourced woods provide strength and increased pop whilst keeping the overall weight of the snowboard to a minimum. Recycled UHMW sidewalls provide resilience and the extruded base ensures that the GWO glides with ease. A Tri-ax/Bi-ax fibreglass combination enhances and magnifies pop and a medium/firm flex pattern provides a responsive feel, ideal for intermediates to advanced riders and all-mountain snowboarding.

- Recycled UHMW Sidewalls - Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from materials derived from soy for a bombproof construction. Through the use of recycled materials Gnu have reduced the environmental impact of manufacturing this snowboard
- Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax fibreglass composite - Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax fibreglass layered at varying degrees to enhance and magnify pop
