About the GNU Rider's Choice Asym

The GNU Rider's Choice is the all-mountain freestyle snowboard that has been designed by riders, for riders.

The Riders Choice comes complete with a C2X Banana camber profile which has been adapted from the award-winning C2 profile and provides a shorter, more aggressive rocker between the feet with a longer camber that sits more underfoot. This makes initiating turns easy and helps maintain float in powder. This profile also contains extra tip and tail pressure to enhance pop, stability and precision.

In addition to this perfectly balanced profile, Gnu have incorporated Magne-Traction edge technology into the Riders Choice, which consists of seven strategically located and sized serrations placed along the length of the snowboard. This provides more contact points between the board and the snow creating higher levels of grip, even on ice.

To provide further control, easy turning and balance Gnu have used Asymmetrical Balancing technology. This builds upon the concept that the human body is asymmetric and the mechanics of a heel turn and toe turn are completely different, hence snowboard design should reflect this. Gnu incorporates a shorter heel side contact length, a deeper heel sidecut, softer heel side flex and asymmetric nose and tail shapes to accommodate this difference.

The Riders Choice uses Gnu's G2 Eco construction, utilising Balsa, Aspen and Paulownia for a super-light but strong core and poppy ride. The core of this board is built but for performance but is designed to last.

A Tri-ax/Bi-ax fibreglass combination enhances and magnifies pop and the flex pattern provides a responsive feel, ideal for intermediates to advanced riders and all-mountain snowboarding.
