The GNU Rider's Choice is the all-mountain freestyle snowboard of choice for GNU pro-Blake Paul. Winner of contests and multiple snowboard awards, the Riders Choice is designed to slay pipes, hit the streets, destroy resorts or slash pow lines.
The Riders Choice comes complete with an Xtreme C2 Banana camber profile which has been adapted from the award-winning C2 profile and provides a shorter, more aggressive rocker between the feet with a longer camber that sits more underfoot. This makes initiating turns easy and helps maintain float in powder. This profile also contains extra tip and tail pressure to enhance pop, stability, and precision.
In addition to this perfectly balanced profile, Gnu has incorporated Magne-Traction edge technology into the Riders Choice, which consists of seven strategically located and sized serrations placed along the length of the snowboard. This provides more contact points between the board and the snow creating higher levels of grip, even on ice.
To provide further control, easy turning, and balance Gnu has used Asymmetrical Balancing technology. This builds upon the concept that the human body is asymmetric and the mechanics of a heel turn and toe turn are completely different, hence snowboard design should reflect this. Gnu incorporates a shorter heel-side contact length, a deeper heel sidecut, softer heel side flex, and asymmetric nose and tail shapes to accommodate this difference.
The Riders Choice is equipped with an Aspen/Paulownia II wood core. These Eco sourced woods provide strength, a lively feel, and increased pop whilst keeping the overall weight of the snowboard to a minimum. UHMW sidewalls provide resilience and a sintered base ensures that the Riders Choice remains extremely fast.
A Tri-ax/Bi-ax fiberglass combination enhances and magnifies pop and the flex pattern provides a responsive feel, ideal for intermediates to advanced riders and all-mountain snowboarding.
