About the La Sportiva Akasha

The La Sportiva Akasha is a versatile, lightweight trial running shoe that is ideal for longer distances and uneven terrain. Compared to other trail running shoes in the La Sportiva range, the Akasha is a higher volume shoe so it is perfect for runners with wider feet.

The FriXion XT Ultra grippy sole is optimum for providing traction on slippery terrain, and the deep triangular shaped lugs are purposely designed for grip on mud and scree. The sole unit also incorporates La Sportiva's Trail Rocker technology, which lessens fatigue by promoting a rolling heel-to-toe motion, allowing you to cover more distance.

The upper is made from AirMesh and PU leather, and features ProTechTion reinforcements and a rubber toe cap. This makes the Akasha breathable and durable while providing protection for you feet. The Akasha also has a dual-injection MEMlex EVA midsole which works with the Cushion Platform to provide supreme cushiong and shock absorption.
