The La Sportiva TX Hike Mid GTX is a lightweight, versatile walking boot that can take on anything, including fast hiking, multi-day treks, and countryside walks. This boot has a high volume fit for out-of-the-box comfort, and is also made with the environment in mind, using recycled materials and vegan-friendly components.

The upper is made from abrasion-resistant recycled mesh fabric, helping to protect your feet and also making the shoe incredibly durable. The TX Hike Mid GTX has a 3D Flex directional joint that supports the ankle without sacrificing mobility, and fastens using a traditional lacing system. The laces themselves are 100% recycled. For unbeatable waterproofing, the TX Hike Mid GTX is lined with a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort Bluesign certified membrane, which is made from recycled plastics. This promises to keep your feet dry whilst allowing them to breathe.

The super sticky Vibram® Eco Step Evo rubber outsole offers unparalleled grip no matter the weather conditions. This particular sole unit is made with a minimum of 30% recycled rubber, giving the outsole a speckled look. With hike-orientated lugs, the TX Hike Mid GTX provides traction and support over a multitude of terrains. The outsole also utilises La Sportiva's Impact Brake System - this means that as many lugs as possible are in contact with the ground to help absorb impact.

Alongside the Vibram Eco outsole, the TX Hike Mid GTX has a moulded EVA midsole for further impact absorption, as well as an Ortholite Hybrid Mountain Hiking 5mm footbed which provides comfort and support underfoot. Ortholite Hybrid insoles are made from 20% recycled components and use anti-compression technology so that they maintain their shape use after use.
