The Tom Wallisch Shorty Youth is a performance-focused freestyle ski just like its bigger brother. It's designed for a young gun wanting to get into park and freestyle skiing.

Packed full of technology that keeps it both stable and playful, this ski offers maximum freestyle performance with a touch of all-mountain ability too, making for an extremely versatile park ski. 72mm at the waist, this ski is super-fast edge to edge. The rockered twin-tips have early rise, which helps prevent edge-catching when buttering and pressing or doing switch-ups on rails, as well as early taper which pushes the ski's contact points further towards the waist than on a traditional twin-tip. This reduces swing weight and makes it easier to bring tricks around.

Underfoot the ski has a traditional camber to keep that stable central platform for hitting rails and a firm edge grip for carving up kickers or just ripping all around the mountain. This works great with the core of the ski, which is 100% Aspen to keep the ski strong and stable underfoot but still soft enough to be playful in the tip and tail, with a completely symmetrical flex designed to stomp tricks forwards or switch. The ski also includes a 4D Firecap construction which is woven into the top layer of the core. This increases durability without adding unnecessary weight.
