The Ducan uses Mammut's cutting-edge technologies including Flextron in both the mid- and outsole. Using Flextron in the mid creates a springy feel, vertical support and stability and prevents any deflection of the foot. It also creates a much more efficient use of energy transfer and shock absorption, keeping your feet in tip-top shape throughout those longer hikes! Neither will there be any issue of keeping your grip when wearing the Ducan. Flextron in the outsole works in combination with a robust Vibram® Grip sole to offer fantastic stability and comfort on rocky terrain. In addition, 3D Memo Foam footbeds provide added support and impact protection.
