The leather and mesh upper are constructed with a waterproof membrane for superior weatherproof, lightweight protection that's fully breathable. No matter where the trail leads, the Thermo Akita guarantees dry feet. The metal hook traditional laces are also made from 100% recycled Nylon for a Planet Earth-friendly design.
The fleece collar makes for premium comfort around the top of the foot. The protective rock plate offers extra durability to protect feet against debris. The 100% recycled mesh lining feels incredibly comfortable and the removable Kinetic Fit™ BASE insole provides impeccable support across a variety of terrains.
The Merrell Air Cushion in the heel is built to absorb shock and provides additional stability while the lightweight EVA foam midsole makes for a lightweight ride that lasts a lifetime. Additionally, this boot is 200 grams lightweight with low bulk insulation keeps you comfortable to provide amazing traction and excellent grip in winter conditions no matter where the adventure leads.
