The MSR (Mountain Safety Research) Elixir 1 Backpacking Tent gives you a versatile solo trekking shelter built around a lightweight design that offers plenty of room for you and your kit.

The Elixir 1 features room for 1 person with a vestibule for stowing additional gear. It features a simple setup with a free-standing design that excels on hard-to-pitch sites without the need for guylines where weather conditions permit. The sheltered porch affords added living space and storage area for kit or for changing or prepping gear and meals. An easy-access entrance features glow-in-the-dark zip toggles for convenience.

Internal pockets and a gear loft organise smaller items and keep essentials close to hand. A micro-mesh internal door keeps insects at bay and works with side venting to maintain airflow in warmer climes. Guylines provide further stability for wet and windy weather while the included custom footprint adds protection from wet, rocky and uneven ground.

A breathable mesh interior works with a solid canopy fabric to deliver ventilation, warmth and privacy. Weather protection comes with a hard-wearing 68D ripstop polyester rainfly with 1500mm waterproofing that when combined with MSR's proven water-resistant stitching and thread delivers robust and long-lasting weatherproofing.
