The MSR (Mountain Safety Research) FreeLite 1 V2 backpacking tent gives you a versatile solo trail shelter built around a lightweight design.

The FreeLite 1 features a fast-pitching, semi-freestanding design with a single-pole architecture for ease of setup in time-sensitive situations. A micromesh canopy delivers maximum ventilation, moisture control, and insect protection with a single entrance for access and a vestibule for added storage.

The updated design features Easton® Syclone™ pole technology. This ultralight construction uses aerospace-grade composite materials that offer improved performance and reliability in heavy winds. All-weather protection comes in the form of Xtreme Shield™. This updated waterproof treatment lasts up to 3x longer than standard coatings and combines with precision, water-tight seams to deliver a long-lasting polyurethane and silicone coating that holds up to heat, rain, and storage.
