A single hub-style ridge pole keeps it super-lightweight while the non-tapered floor optimises living space for comfort; with enough room for 1 adult and a vestibule for stowing gear. The free-standing design excels on hard-to-pitch sites without the need for guy lines where weather conditions permit. A fine mesh internal door keeps insects at bay and works with a cross-ventilating rainfly for airflow in warmer climes. Guy lines provide further stability for wet and windy weather while a roll-up vestibule offers a stargazer view for good weather.
The nylon rainfly features a Durashield™ Coating for storm protection with a tough 30D, 3000mm waterproof bathtub style floor to protect from ground moisture. When combined with MSR's proven water-resistant stitching and thread this delivers robust and long-lasting waterproofing that holds up to heat, rain and storage. The rainfly can be pitched with the footprint as a standalone shelter for minimalist summer trekking and camping. Footprint sold separately.
