Fast in, fast out—ultra-responsive power for riders who don’t wait around.

About the Nidecker Supermatic Carbon

What is the Nidecker Carbon Supermatic good for?

The Nidecker Carbon Supermatic is all about speed, power, and precision. It’s made for riders who want lightning-fast entry without sacrificing the locked-in feel of traditional two-strap bindings. With its stiff flex and responsive carbon-infused design, it delivers instant edge-to-edge control, making it ideal for bombing steep lines, slashing powder, and navigating techy terrain with total confidence. It rides like a high-end performance binding—just way faster to get in and out of.

Who is the Nidecker Carbon Supermatic good for?

This binding is built for intermediate to expert riders who demand top-tier performance and seamless transitions from lift to line. If you're the kind of snowboarder who wants every ounce of energy translated to the board—and hates wasting time strapping in—this is for you. It’s especially ideal for freeriders and all-mountain chargers who want pro-level support and rapid response.

When and where should the Nidecker Carbon Supermatic be used?

From first tracks in deep powder to high-speed resort laps and sidecountry stashes, the Carbon Supermatic thrives in big-mountain and all-mountain settings. It’s not built for beginners or mellow park laps—it’s for days when you’re pushing your limits, navigating dynamic terrain, or just want the thrill of maximum control in minimum time.

How will some of the key features of the Nidecker Carbon Supermatic enhance my experience?

The Carbon S Ultraback hiback is the star of the show—ultra-lightweight yet incredibly supportive thanks to its full carbon construction. The Exo-Kush Pro S hybrid strap offers a smooth glide into the binding and distributes pressure evenly for all-day comfort. The LSR 2.0 auto-lock carbon buckles let you lock in your perfect fit in seconds, while Drop IN™ technology allows for step-in access without sacrificing strap security. With a mid-stiff glass-filled nylon baseplate, canted footbeds, and Slip-N-Grip underfoot, this binding blends precision with comfort. Add in AuxTech® toe straps, Active-Strap tech, and a Multi-Disk mount system, and you’ve got a truly futuristic package.

Why choose the Nidecker Carbon Supermatic?

Choose the Carbon Supermatic because it gives you everything you want from a high-performance binding—responsiveness, comfort, durability—with none of the hassle. It’s the most advanced speed-entry binding on the market, combining real step-in convenience with the control and customization of a top-tier two-strap. Whether you're chasing fresh lines or stacking laps, this binding helps you stay ahead of the crowd and fully locked into every turn.

Product Features

  • Nylon+ Auto Baseplate - 30% GLASS FIBER, 70% NYLON The OG Supermatic baseplate is derived from Nidecker proven Axis platform, with additional Drop IN™ Technology. Glass-filled nylon delivers a mid-stiff flex that channels energy efficiently into the edges for a fun and lively ride, while rockered corners help maintain the board's natural flex.
  • Carbon S Ultraback Hiback - 30% CARBON FIBER, 70% NYLON The NEW Carbon S Ultraback for Supermatic is asymmetric and low profile, delivering featherweight support and a glove-like fit. We've deployed bulletproof carbon-infused nylon across the entire hiback, including the new space-age forward-lean adjuster: the Monolith. Prepare for the ultimate fast entry experience and even faster heelside response.
  • Exo-Kush Pro S Hybrid Strap - Designed exclusively for the Supermatic Carbon binding, the Exo-Kush Pro S is Nidecker's most high performance lightweight strap. A thin layer of Lycra-coated EVA allows the boot to slide in smoothly and spreads pressure evenly across the foot, aided by a durable exo-skeleton made from injected TPU. Its Hybrid design connects the toe and ankle parts for rapid entry while giving the classic feel of a regular two-strap binder – with plenty of freedom to get your tweak on.
  • Hexo Toecap Toe Strap - The Hexo Toecap strap features AuxTech®; a 3D hinged auxetic pattern that expands evenly over your boot for next level comfort.
  • LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock Carbon Buckles - The next evolution of the famous Locking Slap Ratchet automatically locks the buckle in place in both directions as soon as you stop ratcheting. Instantly dial in your preferred strap tension (for use with speed entry) or make quick adjustments on the fly. The premium Carbon version features a carbon-composite lever to stiffen it up and shave weight.
  • Drop IN™ Bindings Features - Drop IN™ Technology works using a triggered hiback. Just push your foot in through the back and step down on the heel pedal to automatically engage the binding. That’s it – you’re ready to shred. A simple push on the release lever makes exiting just as rapid; lift your boot up and out and you're done.
  • AuxTech® Bindings Features - AuxTech® straps feature a geometric pattern that acts as a network of tiny hinges. As you tighten the ratchet, the webbing expands evenly around your boot without stretching the material. The result is better pressure distribution, less foot fatigue and a more direct sense of connection.
  • Active-Strap Bindings Features - Active Strap Technology is featured on the Supermatic® and Flow Design models. It automatically lifts up the footstraps when you open the reclining hiback, and actively tightens them again to your pre-selected position when you close the hiback. This creates more room for your boot, making entry and exit more effortless than ever.
  • Multi-Disk (4hp + 3hp + Channel) - The standard Offset Multi-Disk can be mounted on 4x4, 4x2, 3HP and the M6 Channel – without the need for an accessory channel-disk. The hole patterns are offset from the center for more toe-heel or stance-width adjustability.
  • BankBeds - Nidecker design their footbeds with a 2.5º canted contact surface for optimal ankle and knee alignment and efficient energy transmission.
