Nothing can put a downer on your adventures quite like wet and water-logged gear. When the weather turns and the skies open, the Pack Rain Cover from Patagonia keep your backpack and all your adventure essentials dry and protected.
This lightweight rain cover is made from super-tough, waterproof recycled nylon that forms a protective layer over your backpack. The fabric is then treated with a polyurethane coating for extra durability, and then topped with and DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The DWR causes moisture to simply bead up and roll off the face of the fabric, preventing the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.
With an easily adjustable cinch closure draw chord, the Pack Rain Cover can be adapted to accommodate backpacks of varying shapes and sizes, and will fit most packs with a capacity of up to 45 litres. Other handy features include a reflective logo for visibility and an internal zippered stash pocket for small valuables. When the weather is dry, the whole cover can be stuffed into this internal pocket and easily stashed away.
