One of the newest additions to Patagonia's legendary range of down insulated jackets, the Silent Down Shirt aims to combine the warm, practical comfort if an insulated puffer jacket, with the timeless good looks of a button up shirt.

This stylish iteration of the Patagonia down jacket is insulated with 700-fill-power duck and goose down which wraps the wearer in compressible warmth. Rugged horizontal quilt stitching holds the insulation in place, stabilising the down and ensuring an even, consistent warmth across the whole body. best of all, the feather are 100% recycled and reclaimed from used down products, so you know this jacket is made with Patagonia's famous ethical ethos.

In keeping with its traditional workshirt aesthetic, the Silent Down Shirt features a snap-button placket at the front, a stand up collar and two chest pockets with snap closure. The shell fabric itself is designed to reflect the easy going comfort of your favourite button-up long-sleeve - it's made with soft, supple polyester taffeta with a mechanical stretch, which gives fantastic freedom of movement and feels great next to the skin. The shell fabric is finished with a DWR (durable water repellent) coating that sheds moisture and enhances durability, to protect you from winter weather, wear and tear.
