A streamlined and lightweight harness from Petzl which offers exceptional comfort, the Altitude harness is designed for mountaineering and ski touring and features WIREFRAME technology.

This harness is so light and comfortable it will be practically unnoticeable when worn. The Altitude is held together with WIREFRAME technology to distribute loads better than ever. Waist and leg loops are thin and flexible, whilst the tie in points are reinforced with high-tenacity polyethene for improved resistance to rope friction - this will be greatly appreciated by climbers whilst hanging off belays, working a route and especially during falls.

The Altitude harness can be applied easily with your feet on the ground and whilst wearing skis or crampons, and is easily adjustable via an innovative DOUBLEBACK LIGHT buckle and fastening strap construction that can be operated whilst wearing gloves.

Racking options run around the harness, including two rigid high-capacity equipment loops for quick and easy access, with silicone interiors on each leg loop for carrying ice screws.

The Altitude comes in a protective carry bag for easy transporting and, thanks to its minimalist design, it's really easy to stow and won't take up much space in your pack.
