A Core rechargeable battery is a more economical and sustainable alternative to ordinary batteries. With a core battery, available energy is managed differently during the torch’s use keeping light constant over time. With standard batteries, brightness gradually decreases during use.

The Petzl Core Replacement Battery is fully micro-USB rechargeable and fully charges in 3 hours and can function in low temperatures. As long as your headtorch is compatible you can remove the AAA batteries and insert this rechargeable battery into the space.
