The Platypus Quickdraw Microfilter System gives you a lightweight and reliable water filtration system that's quick and easy to use with a travel-friendly soft-walled design.

The Quickdraw system includes a durable and taste-free 1L QuickDraw reservoir for water storage and a hollow fibre filter cartridge. The system weighs just 95g and can filter up to 3L per minute with a cartridge lifespan of up to 1000 litres. The simple design means you can either shake-to-clean the hollow fibre filter or perform a tool-free backflush to ensure the fast flow rates will stick around for the duration of your trips.

With its inside/outside (I/O) dual-threaded design, the QuickDraw filter cartridge securely adapts to smartwater® bottles and other Platypus bottles and reservoirs allowing you to create your ideal system to suit your needs. Compatible with the Platy Hoser™ Reservoir, Platy 2.0L Bottle, Platy SoftBottle™, Platy Water Tank and certain common 28mm PET soda/water bottles.

The Quickdraw uses a microfilter made of hollow fibre membrane technology. These membranes are made of small straws that contain microscopic pores of 0.2 microns in diameter that allow clean water to pass through while preventing larger bacteria, particulates and other forms of turbidity from passing to create safe drinking water.

Each microfilter is individually tested to ensure it meets all EPA & NSF guidelines for the removal of 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa. Please note, the Quickdraw Microfilter does not filter viruses and should be used in areas/conditions where the water source is known to be free of human contamination.
