The Rab Trailhead Bivi gives you an ultralight and compact bivy bag suitable for a range of fast-moving outdoor activities.
The Trailhead can be used as a standalone sleeping bag cover for lightweight mountain days or as extra protection under a tarp on hiking or bike-packing trips. The lightweight waterproof design meets the challenges of changing weather conditions with a 40D ripstop nylon top and base, together with taped seams and a PU waterproof finish featuring a 10,000mm hydrostatic head.
An open-face style and zipped mesh vent provide great ventilation to reduce condensation with an easy-to-use snap opening entry with stiffened peak and integrated rain gutter for added protection.
Weighing just 406g and packing down to a mere 18 x 12cm, the Rab Trailhead Bivi delivers a minimalist design that stows easily in a pack for a range of outdoor activities from day hikes and cycle tours to multiday trekking and warmer weather mountaineering.
