The Shima 90 features a full wood core made from a poplar and beech blend for a lively yet stable flex. Reinforced with a triaxial fibreglass weave, it provides excellent torsional rigidity without the extra weight of metal laminates. The rockered tip and tail enhance float, pivoting, and smooth turn transitions, while the 90mm waist ensures quick edge-to-edge response. Why has this ski been re-listed?
These skis have been miss drilled with minor marks and scratches along the top sheet and base of both skis. This can be seen in the product images.
- 5 point, Dual Sidecut Shape - The widest point of the ski has been brought in so that the tip and tail tapers off earlier, this is blended with a dual radius sidecut to create a versatile ski which can do multiple turn shapes both on and off the piste
- Early Rise Tip and Tail - Rocker in the tip and tail lifts prevents edge catching and gives float off piste, camber underfoot gives stability, grip, and power on piste
- Poplar/Beech Core - A great blend of qualities, this core is responsive, absorbs vibration and has a natural and consistent flex which can only be found in a real wood core
- Tri-Axial Fibreglass - Ensures long lasting pop and increases the compressional strength and durability of the wood core
- Cap Construction - Lightweight and durable, the topsheet forms a protective cap over the core
