About the Salomon Lo Fi BOA
The 2019 Salomon Lo-Fi snowboard boot is a tech filled dream, designed to provide perfect comfort and response for all mountain freestyle riders. Salomon have used a brand new Mutation construction highlighting key areas and designing them to work together to optimise performance and maximise comfort.
This construction consists of a ground breaking Springback Spine in the back of the snowboard boot which provides numerous benefits. It aids boot response when absorbing impact, provides support to the rest of the boot holding shape ensuring longer durability, secures a better compatibility with bindings and will pretty much enhance your riding experience where ever you are on the mountain. In addition to the Springback, HeelGrip technology is installed to effectively secure the foot in place.
The ShadowFlex neoprene gaiter around the ankle allows natural flex and Sensifit Panels securely holding the foot in place to reduce any unwanted movement. This is Salomon's top of the range liner and features heat mouldable high density foam that provides a perfect fit and hold for the foot, along with a superior and simple lace lock. The liner is designed specifically to work in unison with the Lo-Fi boot and provides a natural, comfortable and advanced boot set up.
The Lo-Fi comes with an Ortholite C3 footbed to provide a cooler, drier and healthier environment for your feet and a long lasting cushioning that will not degrade over time. Also included is a neoprene Climax Gaiter providing a water tight seal around the lower foot ensuring comfort and performance no matter what the conditions.
A HiFive EC+ sole utilises the benefits of an EVA foam Energy Cell+ layer in the mid-sole to enhance rebound, cushioning and comfort. Salomon's STR8JKT lacing system gives you the freedom to customise your fit, by adjusting the Boa system and tightening your traditional laces to your specific requirements. The attached inner heel lock with hold your foot firmly in place and keep everything comfy.
