The Salomon MTN Lab helmet is incredibly lightweight and meets the safety standards for both skiing and climbing, making it perfect for ski-tourers and Alpinistes, and the first choice of many high-mountain guides.
The Salomon MTN Lab is constructed using a combination of a feather-light In-Mold shell and Salomon's innovative new EPS 4D technology to maximize protection, minimize weight, and improve airflow. The EPS 4D liner absorbs and disperses more shock on impact than any other liner on the market and protects against oblique as well as vertical impact, covering impact from falls and also falling rocks and ice. Weighing in at just 365g, the MTN Lab makes it easy to carry extra protection everywhere you go in the mountains.
The helmet features the Custom Dial Fit System for achieving the perfect fit, in terms of both protection and comfort, every time. The Merino wool liner also features Salomon's AdvancedSkin Activedry technology alongside the optimized BC ventilation to regulate your temperature in a wide range of mountain conditions and activity levels. The Merino liner is fully removable and washable.
