The Salomon MTN Patrol helmet is incredibly lightweight, perfect for ski-tourers and Alpinistes, and built to suit the needs of mountain patrollers as they help keep skiers safe during their alpine and mountaineering adventures.

The MTN Patrol meets the safety standards for both activities while remaining one of the lightest helmets Salomon has ever made. It's constructed using a combination of a feather-light In-Mold shell and Salomon's innovative new EPS 4D technology to maximise protection, minimise weight and improve airflow. The EPS 4D liner absorbs and disperses more shock on impact than any other liner on the market and protects against oblique and vertical impact, including from falls and falling rocks and ice. Weighing in at just 345g, the MTN Patrol makes it easy to carry extra protection everywhere you go in the mountains.

The Patrol helmet features the Custom Dial Fit System for a perfect fit, offering protection and comfort in equal measure. The extra Merino wool liner also has Salomon's AdvancedSkin Activedry technology alongside the optimized BC ventilation to regulate your temperature in a wide range of mountain conditions and activity levels. The Merino liner is fully removable and washable.
