Fitted with Salomon's Shadow Fit baseplate to create unparalleled board feel, support, under-foot flex and a more natural fit, the Quantum is completely tailored towards the needs of the freeride snowboarder. A carbon Quantum asymmetrical highback ensures that energy transmission is optimised and an ergonomic design eliminates pressure points.

Salomon's Carbon-Lite technology means that these components are made from 30% carbon fibre, a super tough material with an incredibly high strength-to-weight ratio. This improves overall strength and rigidity throughout the binding, which gives the increased response and power transfer without adding unnecessary weight.

Offering comfort and a 360-degree natural flex that doesn't sacrifice weight or performance, the Kevlar Quickwire system and Powerhook running through the heel cup create incredible responsiveness with 10x the normal comfort, and a baseplate that conforms to your boot for the perfect fit.

An adjustable toe ramp means that you can easily customise the fit to your boot in order to optimise power transmission to the toe edge. The footbed itself has a lightweight Optivibe soft padding for extra cushioning and stability in high-impact areas of the footbed. The 2.5-degree canted footbed will provide you with a more natural, comfortable stance improving board feel and reducing foot/leg fatigue to keep you riding longer and harder.

Salomons high-end Shadow Lite ankle strap and a Locked-Up toe strap create an incredibly comfortable connection, with a lightweight, locked-in hold and excellent response. The Aluminium buckles/MP Ratchets ensure quick entry/exit, and ultimate hold with minimal wear and tear.
