The Salomon Shelter CSWP Hiking Boot provides you with all the waterproofing and insulation you need for both rural and urban winter adventures and particularly when hiking over snow and ice.

The Shelter CSWP is made with Climasalomon waterproof protection and Climatherm insulation, so you can walk and hike in snowy conditions while keeping your feet warm and dry. It also includes a mesh and textile lining for optimal breathability on those longer hikes.

The midsole and outsole feature an Advanced Chassis™ which protects sensitive ankle articulations for extra stability while keeping the front of the shoe flexible so you can maintain responsive energy-efficient movement. In addition, high-performance EVA EnergyCell foam absorbs impact on harder surfaces.

Every step you make will be accommodated by a sticky Contagrip sole which features lugs in all the right places to displace snow and offer ultimate traction on any terrain. Meanwhile, a gusseted tongue wraps around your foot and also prevents debris from entering the shoe.
