The 2021 Salomon Synapse Wide JP snowboard boot caters to the needs of freeriders and aggressive all mountain riders alike. The Synapse is a stiff boot to provide the great response and versatility that's needed for charging down big mountain and back country lines.
The Synapse has a wider foot base, so if you find the standard narrow boots uncomfortable, this will be your best option for maximum comfort and support. Salomon's new Ortholite C3 insole has a high density footbed that keeps your foot in a cooler, drier environment with a memory foam layer that stays cushioned and Heel Grip to give added support to reduce heel movement in the boot.
The boots use a Response/Full Custom Fit liner, a fully heat mouldable Ultralon performance foam to provide the best fit and comfort you can imagine and the quick dry insole ensures your feet stays dry.
With a shock absorbing Trek EC+ Outsole that has been tailor made to handle touring and a high traction design that increases dampening through it's rubber pads, you will have no problems hiking around the back country, mountains and icy lift stations! The boot uses PowerLock, Salomon's quick lacing system to help get you in and out of the boots in record time.
The Synapse Wide JP snowboard boot is super durable and tough, and offers maximum dryness and comfort to deal with anything the mountain can throw at it. It's smooth and supportive flex provides the response needed to tackle challenging all mountain and back country pursuits. Designed for Intermediate to Advanced riders that require the utmost perfection on the mountain and gear that won't let them down.
