The X ULTRA 3 GTX features a low cut profile which allows for a great range of movement. Its Sensifit technology wraps around your foot creating secure foothold with precision fit. The Salomon Quicklace System works efficiently in a minimalist design to reach optimum fit in record time. Once adjusted and cinched, the excess lace can be tucked away inside a discrete lace pocket on the tongue of the shoe.

The midsole and outsole feature Advanced Chassis which maximises motion control for responsive energy efficient movement. Every step you make will be accommodated by a sticky Contagrip sole which features lugs in all the right places to displace mud and offer ultimate traction on any terrain. Thanks to Descent Control technology the Ultra 3 is able to deliver performance when negotiating tough terrain and excels in descents thanks to a combination of its superior grip and Advanced Chassis.

You can see from the images that this shoe has reinforced rubber all around for ultimate protection from your heel to your toes. A gusseted tongue wraps around your foot and also prevents debris from entering the shoe.

Made with Gore Tex, this shoe is fully waterproof so you can purposely walk, hike and run in puddles whilst retaining dry feet. The X ULTRA 3 GTX from Salomon is great as an all mountain shoe but also as a casual every day commute shoe.
