Sensifit technology wraps around your foot creating a secure foothold with a precision fit. The midsole and outsole feature a new ADV-C Chassis which protects sensitive ankle articulations for extra stability while keeping the front of the shoe flexible so you can maintain responsive energy-efficient movement.

Every step you make will be accommodated by a sticky Contagrip sole which features lugs in all the right places to displace mud and offer ultimate traction on any terrain. Meanwhile, Active Support adapts to the shape, volume and movement of your feet and holds your foot securely in place.

To compliment all of this, the Salomon Quicklace System is designed for easy-on/easy-off and offers a secure and fully supportive fit. The X ULTRA 4 GTX also includes a gusseted tongue which wraps around your foot and prevents debris from entering the shoe.
