About the Scarpa Vapour Lace
The all-new Vapour provides wearers with versatility on edge.
A downturned shape coupled with a low-angle tox box enables the Vapour Lace to be applicable to all climbing styles. That said the climbing shoe features 2/3 length of Vibram® XS Edge for the sole unit, this in combination with the Bi Tension active ranging system means the shoe excels at edging performance. A further advantage of the Bi Tension active ranging system is that through drawing back through the arch means the Vapour Lace has incredible flex with subtle tension should you require it.
The PAF System is another bespoke Scarpa technology incorporated into the shoe design. The system helps spread the force of the heel tension to improve the fit of the heel across users. The overall fit of the shoe is aimed at those with a narrower foot shape with a centralised toebox. The narrower shape aids those in edging performance.
Constructed with a multi-panel upper from dual plu Lorenzi microfiber with leather panels that wrap across the toebox, the shoe is highly comfortable out of the box. A further TPU laminate limits the overall stretch of the unit ensuring that the Vapour will fit you for many pitches to come.
Considered to be their edging performance shoe for outdoor climbs this is the Vapour from Scarpa.
