Marketing Coordinator | Full Time

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, forward thinking person to immerse themselves in our organisation. The role consists of working closely with the General Manager to ensure our marketing strategy is carefully planned and correctly implemented. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a professional approach to all areas of business and who would work well within a team environment. A passion for the sports we participate in is essential.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Coordinating all of our social media channels

  • Working with buyers to strategise content and marketing pushes

  • Creating beautiful images for our website

  • Coordinating blog posts and other content

  • Creating newsletters and managing e-mail databases

  • Managing our team of athletes to ensure content is received and pushed regularly

  • Working closely with the General Manager to set budgets for marketing activity

  • Taking photographs for products and marketing pushes

Key Skills
 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent creative vision

  • Excellent computer literacy

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Managing paid social budgets and creating ads (Facebook Adverts Manager/Power Editor)

  • Ability to accept constructive criticism and build on feedback going forward

  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Basic knowledge of HTML

  • Experience with email marketing and composition of newsletters (Mailchimp)

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Knowledge and passion for the sports we work in

  • A 'love what you do' attitude

  • Friendly, passionate and approachable demeanor

We have a team-based culture and everyone is expected to ‘muck in’ and help out on a very wide variety of tasks, as and when the need arises. For some positions, Saturday working will be required. For all positions overtime is likely to be required during busy periods. Even our Managing Director has been known to pack parcels at Christmas! Our team spirit and team based working practices make it a fulfilling and exciting place to work. All salaries will be based on experience and qualifications.
