The Sierra Designs Meteor tent series returned in 2020 with an updated design built to the needs of campers heading out into an ever-changing North European climate.

Enhanced waterproofing, added wind protection, and a PFC-free construction makes the Meteor 3000 a standout design for fast-moving hiking and trekking. It also features a green 'earth-tone' flysheet to blend in with the landscape for wild camping adventures.

The Meteor 3000 tent gives you that same lightweight, 2-door, twin vestibule design that doesn't compromise on living space and on-trail comfort. The freestanding dome design is fast to pitch and features pre-bent Osung poles that create a vertical front wall while a ridge pole creates near vertical side-walls to maximise internal space. On the inside, there's room enough for 2 people with a door either side for hassle-free access for each occupant. A vestibule on either side provides extra storage space and protect entrances from rain.

The flysheet can be rolled back for added ventilation in warmer weather while vents offer airflow and moisture management in cooler climes. The 68D fly and floor fabric see an increase to 3000mm hydrostatic head while the addition of 15D solid nylon interior side walls delivers improved wind resistance. A 15D nylon No-See-Um mesh in the upper portion of the inner tent offers ventilation and moisture management.

The innovative 'burrito' style storage pack makes it quick and easy to pack away while An additional footprint (sold separately) boosts ground protection.
