The Fit

Burton jackets come in a variety of 'fits'. Check the product description on each jacket to see which fit applies.

  • Sig Fit (aka Classic): This is Burton's signature fit that has been hugely popular over the years. These jackets give enough room for layering, without being overly baggy.
  • Boyfriend Fit: This is a longer silhouette and straighter fit for a more progressive, relaxed look.
  • [AK] Fit: This is Burton's high performance line designed with a fit engineered to better mimic the body's natural movement while riding and hiking.
  • Slim Fit: This is similar to Burton's Sig fit yet has been tailored and made slightly tighter without sacrificing freedom of movement.

How to Measure Your Chest & Arm Length

    placeholder text

  • Wear just an undergarment or nothing at all.
  • Stand up straight with your arms hanging by your sides and breath normally.
  • Run a soft tape measure under your arm pits over the largest part of your chest and across your shoulder blades.
  • The tape measure should be snug, but not tight.
  • Ask a friend to run a soft tape measure from the centre of the back of your neck, across to the tip of one shoulder, then down the outside of your arm to your wrist bone.
