In Our Opinion

The Dakine size chart is accurate and reliable, and should fit according to the measurements given. Knee pads need to be fairly close fitting but if you want it a little bit more roomy, go for a size bigger. We are confident in the fit of Dakine Pads because:

  • We have tried the pads on ourselves, in a full range of models and sizes.
  • We monitor customer returns.
  • We see customers wearing the pads in our Snowboard Shop
  • We have been selling them for years!

How to Measure Your Knees

  • Wear just an undergarment or nothing at all.
  • Stand up with your legs straight.
  • For Measurement A: Pass a soft tape measure around your leg 4 inches (10 cm) above the centre of your knee. The tape measure should be snug, but not tight.
  • For Measurement B: Pass a soft tape measure around your leg 4 inches (10 cm) below the centre of your knee. The tape measure should be snug, but not tight.
