Fit
DC women's snow jackets and pants (one pieces) come in three different fits:
Tailored: Not tight, just right. This fit offers slimmer proportions while providing complete comfort, room for layering and absolute freedom of movement.
Standard: The perfect balance. This fit offers classic, roomy comfort with no unecessary bulk. Atriculated knees and elbows provide both form and function.
Relaxed: Look like a pro. This fit offer a looser, DC team rider-approved fit that guarantees maximum mobility and ample sag.
In Our Opinion
The DC size chart is accurate and reliable, but please be aware that the standard and relaxed fit one piece suits are designed to be worn oversized and baggy. Therefore, if you prefer a more fitted look and you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size.
We are confident in the fit of women's DC ski and snowboard onesie because:
- We have tried the suits on ourselves, in a full range of models and sizes.
- We monitor customer returns.
- We see customers wearing the one piece suits in our Snowboard Shop
- We have been selling them for years!
How to Measure Your Chest

Jacket Dimensions
We strongly recommend that you never measure a jacket to determine the chest size you need. Actual garment sizes differ substantially from the dimensions quoted in the table at the top of this page because the manufacturer makes allowances for:
- The wearing of mid and / or base layers beneath the jacket
- The freedom of movement required for snowboarding
- The cut and style of the jacket
- The insulation which may or may not be included in a particular jacket.
All of the above will differ depending on a jacket's specific design. A jacket's physical dimensions will always be significantly greater than your actual chest measurement but this difference will also vary from jacket to jacket.
Snowboard / Ski Pant Dimensions
The waist band size, as physically measured on a on a pair of snowboard or ski pants, will rarely be the same as that quoted by the manufacturer, as the manufacturer quotes the waist measurement of the person the pants are designed to fit, and the waist band rarely aligns with a person's natural waist line. If a manufacturer quotes a 34" waist, the pants should fit you if you have a 34 inch waist, but the waist band on the pants, depending on the cut of the pants, may not actually be 34 inches.
When you measure the inseam on a pair of snowboard or ski pants, it should be similar to your own inside leg measurement but people often wear snowboard or ski pants with shorter inseams than their inside leg measurement or their normal street trousers because:
a) Snowboard and ski boots are bulky and rise up your leg a fair way.
b) It's the fashion to wear your pants with the crotch low down towards your knees so, if you are one of these people, the inside leg measurement makes precious little difference.
People also wear pants with extra long legs if they like the bunched up look.
