K2 Snowboard Boots International Size Chart

K2 Women's Snowboard Boots

The UK sizes quoted by K2 for womens snowboard boots in their size chart, on the boot boxes and on the boots themselves are understated by half a size.  So, if it says UK 7 on the boots, they will actually be a UK 7.5.  As a specialist online retailer proud of our extremely low returns rate, we have treble checked our facts.  The sizes we quote on our website are correct - when we quote a K2 Women's boot as being a UK 7, it will be a UK 7 but the boots themselves will be labelled incorrectly as a UK 6.5.

If you are a repeat buyer of K2 womens boots and you normally buy K2 UK 7, please order half a size up ie UK 7.5. The boots you receive will be a UK 7.5, incorrectly labeled as a UK 7.  Better still, we recommend all customer ignore the size chart table and instead use the Mondo Point (MP) scale to remove any potential confusion.

K2 Men's Snowboard Boots

K2 men's snowboard boots are unaffected.  All quoted sizes are correct.

The Mondo Scale

'Mondo' means 'World' and ALL manufacturers around the world use this system for sizing ALL footwear. We recommend you use it too because it is the most accurate and reliable measure and is consistent across all brands and all types of footwear.  Our website always shows both the Mondo and UK sizes for all snowboard boots.

The Mondo scale is dead easy! Mondo 30.0 means the footbed liner or insole of your shoe is exactly 30cm long. Some manufacturers call it Mondo 300 but this simply means your insole is 300mm long so is exactly the same. The mondo point scale was invented in Japan so it is sometimes also referred to as Japanese sizing.

To work out what boot size you need using the mondo scale, simply find a pair of snowboard boots that fit you well and either look at the MP size quoted on the size label or remove the insole.  If you do not have boots, a comfy pair of trainers will work.  Measure the insole using a steal measuring tape measuring from the extreme tip of the toe to the extreme tip of the heel. The measurement will ALWAYS be exact to the nearest 5mm. You will never get 30.2 or 28.8. It will always be 30.0 exactly. This is your mondo shoe or boot size.  Checkout this video to have Adam explain it all in plain English:

* These are the UK sizes K2 have printed on the boxes and size labels for all their women's snowboard boots.  They are under stated by half a size.  When K2 say a womens snowboard boot is a UK 6, it will in fact be as UK 6.5 - as shown in the above table.
