Ski mittens, as opposed to Five Finger Ski Gloves, are the warmest option so, if your hands suffer from the cold or if you ski at high altitude, in bad weather or in the depths of winter we always recommend you choose a good quality pair of ski mittens. You will have to remove your mitts to conduct some fiddly tasks but, to be honest, this is also the case with most Five Finger Ski Gloves as well. Just make sure your ski mitts have a Glove Leash; it is very easy to lose a mitt whilst sitting on a chair lift.
