Ski ties or ski straps hold a pair of skis together making them much easier to carry before and after a day’s skiing. Using a ski tie also stops your skis rubbing together, preventing the sharp edges of one ski damaging the base of another. Using ski ties helps your skis to stay bundled together when carried in a car or Ski Bag and when in storage - loose skis can easily fall and hurt someone or become a trip hazed. Ski ties are usually made from either tough nylon with padding and velcro or from stretchy soft silicone rubber.
