The Soto Stormbreaker Stove is a primerless-ignition stove that can run on either liquid or gas canister fuel. A dual-purpose jet means you can switch between fuel with a minimum of effort. The system features a Smart Pump for use with liquid fuel feeds and a Butterfly Gas Valve that adapts the stove for canister use. Integrated rubber valve protectors can be fixed into place when not in use to prevent dust and grit ingress.

Designed for use in extreme weather conditions, the Stormbreaker features several key design features for increased fuel efficiency and weather protection. Distance between pot and burner head has been optimised for reduced wind effect while a concave burner head actively shields the flame from wind. A downward-facing air intake delivers an uninterrupted supply of air for improved combustion.

The lightweight design (for its class) weighs just 448g and can be broken down depending on the type of fuel required for the trip. The Stormbreaker's main body offers a compact size, with 3 sturdy folding pot supports that collapse down to a size that would fit in most camp mugs. Pot supports are slip-resistant and fold out to form a stable base for larger volume pots.

When operating the stove with liquid fuel, a red-line pressure indicator on the pump lets you know when the fuel bottle is at the optimum pressure. For safety, the Stormbreaker features an emergency shut off button. Flame control lets you simmer or boil while a further 'air' mode lets you burn off residual fuel before shutting off and storing.

The included Butterfly Gas Valve lets you connect to a gas canister with a simple slide-ring click and connect system. When using a gas canister, the stove is ignited with the canister in an upright position. The canister is then inverted after running for 5-10 seconds to ensure smooth operation. The clever design features a fold-out stand that lets you safely invert the canister. A flame control then allows you to regulate the flow from simmer to boil.
