Honouring Tenaya's reputation for producing shoes with a focus on precision, the Tenaya Mastia features a single velcro strap with a slightly asymmetrical technical slipper design that offers a precise fit of the shoe around the form of your feet. This design helps drive power to the stiff toe box for total control of your footwork.
The Mastia has a flexible midsole, giving heightened sensitivity in the toe and allowing it to perform on overhanging problems where it's necessary to hook onto small holds. Meanwhile, the sticky rubber toe patch can grip to tough toe hooks with ease. The Tenaya shoe doesn't lose its edging ability thanks to the 3.5mm Vibram XS Grip rubber sole, which balances sensitivity and support in the toes when climbing becomes more vertical.
