The Hydra 38 RC is a fully-featured and lightweight, backpack for day hikes and overnights in the hills. With an array of features such as a FlashDry™ back panel and a Dyno Lift System™, the Hydra caters to life on the trail.

External elastic water-bottle pockets provide ease of access to hydration on the go, and for those who prefer, the pack is hydration system compatible. Two tool keepers facilitate the carry of more technical kit such as walking poles or axes, to meet the demands of harder trails.

Embrace the rain whilst keeping your kit dry with the included protective rain cover - brightly coloured for improved visibility in darker conditions. The floating top lid and lower compression straps provide additional carrying capacity should your adventure require more than the pack's 38L capacity.

Hydra uses The North Face's own Dyno Lift System™ - Self Equalising shoulder straps ensure a balanced load and provide ease of adjustment on the fly. Coupled with a T6 aluminum frame for improved load distribution and a trampoline back panel that scientifically improves breathability, the Hydra is a comfortable gear hauler.

Contoured shoulder straps and a shorter frame not only improve carrying comfort, but an anatomically shaped hip belt improves freedom of movement.
