If you're not keen on the traditional hiking shoe style, The North Face Litewave FutureLight™ is the perfect choice. This lightweight hiker has the look of a casual trainer but with all the technology to tackle tough terrain and keep your feet dry.

Constructed from abrasion-resistant mesh with a no-sew TPU quarter overlay, the LiteWave FutureLight shoe benefits from a breathable-waterproof FUTURELIGHT™ membrane and even an integrated, protective toe cap. The OrthoLite® Hybrid™ footbed, made with 5% recycled rubber content, provides cushioning and support for the foot whilst the rubber outsole provides traction on uneven terrain.

Well made and great fit tho I went up 1/2 size from 9 to 9.5. These shoes are ideal for pavement pounding and possibly for some dry lowland treks. They are, kind of, trekking shoe meets trainer. I wouldn’t use them for serious fell walking. Otherwise I am totally happy with them.

Excellent - I've had 3 pairs in recent years ( I walk the dog !), these latest are the best as the soles are better for grip. They are also lightweight- which for late Spring to early Autumn are ideal.
