About the Tubbs Flex Alp
A performance snowshoe built for backcountry missions, the Flex Alp from Tubbs gives you a micro-serrated crampon ensuring grip and support on deep snow and icy trails.
An ActiveFit™ 2.0 binding features a TPU cinch strap for ease of entry with decreased friction and ice build-up for a secure and supportive fit that accommodates a wide range of footwear. The Flex Alp releases with a pull on the pull-strap while the EZ Heel Buckle can be operated with one hand. Replace binding straps easily with a toolless design.
The Rotating Toe Cord design enables the tail of the snowshoe to drop helping shed snow and reducing fatigue on tough climbs. A Rotation Limiter prevents over-rotation for smoother forward motion while an optional heel lift helps reduce fatigue on steep ascents.
Underfoot, the Viper™ 2.0 carbon steel toe crampon features a jagged tooth construction to maximize weighted traction and responsiveness. Aggressive tangs in the toe crampon deliver an added degree of security and hold on variable snow conditions. 3D-Curved Traction Rails ensure superior side grip in hard-packed snow conditions with a curved shape that guards against fore-aft slippage when tackling steeper terrain.
The Tubbs Flex Alp is a light yet rugged snowshoe to see you through serious backcountry tours. Precision bite and traction in all conditions with easy entry and exit. An alpine essential for big mountain trips and backcountry ski and snowboard tours.
