The Ultra bindings are the most spring-loaded binding in the line and every component acts as a suspension system for your boots, loading and unloading with each movement as you ride.
The Ultra bindings come equipped with Unions Stage 11 ASYM Duraflex ST Baseplate. By removing excess material in the toe and heel areas of the base plate, Union has created an innovative asymmetric design that drastically improves the torsional flex of the binding and provides a 360-degree board flex and feel. This, combined with Union's exclusive TPE Outsole technology further improves the bindings dampening and vibration-cancelling properties as this manufacturing process negates the need to apply bushing glue.
Union has added toe and ankle straps to compliment the overall surf-like feel of these bindings. The Forma X Ankle Straps provide instant response and all-day comfort thanks to the Exoframe exterior and the Forma interior which forms perfectly to any boot on the market.
