About the WANDRD ROUTE Pack

The ROUTE is WANDRD's vertical chest-mounted protection system that is weatherproof and dustproof. The pack attaches to the shoulder straps of all WANDRD packs and is compatible with trekking backpacks to provide instant camera access while on the move. It can be expanded to fit telephoto lenses. And includes a shoulder strap for stand-alone carry.

Route chest pack is constructed from the same 420D Robic Nylon with a 5 PM Coating as the FERNWEH Backpack, this ensures that your camera and lens is fully protected from the elements. The integrated foam ensures that items carried within the ROUTE are protected from nasty bumps.

An exterior forward zippered pouch can accommodate phones and other accessories but is the perfect size for storing larger telephoto lens caps. Access to the main body of the ROUTE is facilitated through two top zippers, the lid closure is hinged to proved easier access to your camera, but is designed to snap back to protect the LCD from the elements in bad conditions.

The Route Chest Pack has a range of carrying options. Two removable accessory strap facilitate its chest carry that attaches seamlessly to the FERNWEH. A side release buckle in this configuration allows for fast removal of the ROUTE should it be required. Additional webbing loops are compatible with WANDRD accessory straps (sold separately) for lashing the pack down should you be aggressively hiking. A further carry option utilises the included shoulder strap for the pack be used as a stand-alone camera bag, while a passthrough on the back of the Route means it can be worn on the hipbelt of a range of bags.
