About the Manbi Economy Neoprene Support
These wrist guards are amazing value for money.
We're usually a bit dubious about the fit of 'one size fits all' products, so we decided to test these wrist guards, but they fitted everyone, even people with XS hands right through to XL, because of Manbi's Tri strap design which is super adjustable. They open up fully so you can get them on your hands really easily without having to force them. The Tri-strap locks the guard into place, exactly where it should be. They are very light in weight and thin, which makes them easy to fit under most gloves and very comfortable.
We have, however, labelled these wrist guards as 'economy' because, despite the good fit and comfort, they are light weight, thin and on the flimsy side. We have not been able to test how well they protect in a fall but suspect they would be the least effective of all the wrist guards we sell. We think they have been designed for people looking for a low cost solution and are probably best suited to people who are light weight, people who do not expect to fall hard or often, to those with gloves unable to accommodate a more substantial wrist guard and to anyone on a tight budget. Having said this, these are the very best low cost 'economy' wrist guards we have been able to source. We discovered lots of other cheap wrist guards on the market but none were anywhere near as good as these ones by Manbi, which is why we stock them.
The Wrist guards are sold as a pair and but we would recommend buying gloves one size bigger than your normal size to accommodate the extra bulk from the guards.
If your budget allows, we recommend opting for a more substantial pair of wrist guards for snowboarding.
