Dinosaurs Will Die

Dinosaurs Will Die is a rider-owned brand not just for people that go snowboarding, but for people who live snowboarding. The boards are made in Austria and the company pride themselves on their high quality and hard-riding products. 
Founded in 2005 by Sean Genovese and Jeff Keenan, Dinosaurs Will Die was born out of their joint desire to bring back real passion and authenticity to the snowboarding industry. With their goal being to rebel against the brands that weren't truly in it for the love of the sport, the two accomplished riders built DWD into a brand that snowboarders everywhere were proud to be a part of. 

DWD kept their operation small in their first couple of years, producing small runs of snowboards in southern California. Most notably however, was the 'Fuck Fun' snowboard that was infamously banned from a certain ski resort in 2007. After that, the brand continued to seek out the best new talent and the young Chris Larson was introduced into the DWD family. 

The 2009 Season marked a significant transformation in the company's history, with the move to the Elan factory in Austria. It proved to be a milestone that brought the company's snowboard quality up to the incredible standards they maintain today. With the subsequent introduction of the now famous Rat snowboard - which was of course heavily influenced by Larson's outlandish jibbing style - DWD cemented their place in snowboarding history as a true rider favourite. 

DWD are now well known for their annual Rats edit, which consists of video clips of any and all riders from all four corners of the globe who ride a DWD snowboard, and the brand's infectious love for the sport continues to permeate through the industry.
