It surrounds your body with an ultralight, 100% non-breathable 15 Denier Ripstop Nylon shell that is laminated with a TPU-film on the inside. This makes it ideal for long winter trips in extremely cold conditions where the technical fabric acts to minimize evaporative heat loss and reduce dehydration. This helps to maintain the insulation and the loft of your sleeping bag by protecting it from body moisture.
The Vapor Barrier Liner also makes a great emergency bivy with a minimalist design that takes up little pack space and offers peace of mind. At a micro 160g (regular size) it's small enough to fit in a pocket!
An elasticated drawstring hood pulls snug to seal out cold air while a stuff sack is sewn into the liner at chest height making it ideal for storing smaller items such as a headlamp or watch.
