About the K2 Reckoner 112
The K2 Reckoner range replaced the old Marksman and Catamaran for an all-mountain freestyle ski. Sitting in the middle of the range is the Reckoner 112 which is perfectly paired with a Marker Griffon 13ID binding, to ensure maximum fun is achieved all over the mountainside whether it's surfing over fresh powder to playing around the side of the piste.
The Reckoner 112 features a lightweight Fir Aspen core constructed in a double-barrel form. The denser fir is placed at the edges for power and impact resistance whilst the lighter Aspen is at the center to generate a responsive and energetic feel. The carbon spectral braid weaved within the core will offer torsional stiffness so you can ski hard when you want to but keeps the ski weight down and the flex moderate so you can also enjoy those cruisey days out too.
The 112mm underfoot with the all-terrain rocker allows the Reckoner to perform in all snow conditions, offering a surfy feel off-piste, and easy turn initiation when playing about on fresh groomers. To increase durability and edge to edge control the Reckoner uses K2's Twintech sidewall, meaning they will feel comfortable on any terrain the mountain has to offer.
The K2 Reckoner 112 is designed towards a more playful all-mountain freestyle ski. Unlike the more aggressive K2 Mindbender range this directional twin tip all-mountain freestyle ski will boost off kickers all day long and dart in between moguls at the end of the day.
- Torsion Control Design - Torsionally stiffest in the fore body and centre of the ski but progressively easing throughout the tail, aiding in acuuraste and smooth turn initiation and release.
- Carbo Spectral Braid - Tuned torsion and flex buy altering fibre orientation along the length of the ski, this keeps the ski super stable without adding weight.
- Twintech - A Durable, Full sidewall construction providing great edge feel and performance with added top sheet resistant to ski vs. ski impact damage.
- Aspen Veneer Core- Lightweight and resilient, a great all round Core.
- All terrain Rocker - A gradual rise to the tip for great versatility in all conditions with a short low rise on the tail for added control in varied terrain
